Meabh Carron Singing teacher

Meabh was one of the original ITW kids.  Her first professional experience was along side Colm Wilkinson in 'Les Miserables' at the Point Theatre in 1999 followed by the role of Annie in Annie at the Tivoli Theatre and Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, National Concert Hall.  Meabh then went on to achieve a B.A. in Music and Drama Studies at University College Dublin, and afterwards studied performance at The Gaiety School of Acting. She also studied classical singing at The Royal Irish Academy of Music for many years. During Meabh’s time in UCD she received a scholarship for singing. After college she sang with girl band Rouges who supported The Saturdays in The Bord Gais Energy Theatre. She is now a lead vocalist, and co-writer in acoustic folk-pop CARRON. Their new single is currently featured on Failte Ireland’s latest online campaign and they have a brand new EP coming out soon. Aside from music, Meabh’s recent performance experience includes performing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and featuring in two independent feature films.
