She has been a professional actor & musician for almost 30 years (yes, she's ancient!) and is a graduate of Salford University where she studied music, Laine Johnson Theatre School (acting) and she spent her entire childhood at the notorious Oldham Theatre Workshop which boasts the foundations of the prestigious careers of many, many well known English actors! Paula herself has worked extensively in numerous TV dramas, soaps, commercials and in radio plays too. Some of her credits include Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Shameless, Heartbeat, Doctors, Scott and Bailey & Dublin's own Fair City. Alongside her acting career, Paula also worked as a singer/keyboard player both in the UK and abroad in various cover bands, tribute acts and also as a solo singer working the wedding, corporate and pub circuits. After she had her children, Paula studied the fundamentals of young children’s music education and qualified as a Kindermusik educator. She then founded her own pre-school music programme, Rhythm Rascals for parents and young children and also Pocket Money Workshop which are drama classes and Theatre-In-Education events for Primary school age children.
