SIGHT SINGING WORKSHOP
Sight Singing Workshop
12–2pm | 29th March | Clonskeagh
with Andrew
Discover how approachable and enjoyable sight singing can be in this dynamic two-hour workshop designed to build real confidence and results. Using solfège and the Kodály method, Andrew breaks sight singing down into simple, achievable steps that actually work.
This upbeat, supportive session removes the fear around sight reading and replaces it with clarity, structure, and musical confidence. Through movable-do solfège, hand signs, rhythm games, group singing, and practical exercises, students strengthen pitch accuracy, rhythmic security, and inner hearing — all in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Participants will leave with a clear, step-by-step strategy for mastering the sight-singing section of exams, along with tools they can immediately apply in lessons and practice.
✔ Ideal for students Grade 3 and above
✔ Directly supports sight-singing requirements in Singing exams
✔ Builds skills that translate to stronger musicianship and confident performance
If sight singing has ever felt intimidating, this workshop will change the way you hear — and sing — music.
