What an incredible weekend of performances with our ITW Shakespeare Company as ITW Studios Clonskeagh was transformed into Ilyria as Twelfth Night unfolded before our audiences of students and parents and friends!
Our ITW Shakespeare Company LOVE learning about Shakespeare and performing these productions - did you know that by the time they finish up with our Shakespeare Company many of our students will have performed in 6 Shakespeare plays! And that is all before they do their Junior Cert!
Here is what Maeve, Kayla, Bella and Millie had to say about their experience of ITW Shakespeare Company this year:
I really loved going to London with the Shakespeare group and seeing Twelfth Night in the Globe theatre, it was a blast! Performing in ITW was so much fun because the atmosphere on stage was so heart-warming and everyone is cheering you on. - Millie
I really enjoyed Shakespeare company it was so fun and everyone’s so nice. Going to London to see Twelfth Night was amazing and i’m so looking forward to next year! - Maeve
I had so much fun in SHAKESPEARE , I made so much new friends and it boosted up my confidence , I’m so sad that I didn’t go to London but I had so much fun with the role-play and everyone is so sweet! I would love to do it again next year. - Kayla
I have had so much fun in Junior Shakespeare over the last three years but not only that, I have learned so much. Every week I learn more about Shakespeare and the time he lived in, whether from learning my lines or Gillians fun facts! Even on our amazing London trip we were taught about his home theatre ‘The Globe’ and its significance, and that is only the start of your experience in ITW Shakespeare Company, and you are guaranteed to meet meet such amazing and kind people. - Bella
