What is a transition year?
This unique Transition Year programme offers students the opportunity to combine a full academic TY experience with professional-level performing arts training.
Designed for students who want more from their TY year, this programme allows them to grow in confidence, creativity and independence while developing real, transferable skills for life.
Students divide their week between:
Academic Learning
Core subjects including English, Irish, Maths and a language
Engaging TY modules such as Barista Training, Driver Theory and more
A supportive and structured school environment
Vocational Performing Arts Training
15 hours per week of specialist training
Acting, Singing, Dance and Musical Theatre
Performance opportunities and creative development
This balance ensures students receive a well-rounded, meaningful and future-focused TY experience.
