Transition Year Full-time Course

In Partnership with Ashfield College & The Independent Theatre Workshop

Our Transition Year Musical Theatre Programme, delivered in partnership with Ashfield College, offers students a distinctive opportunity to combine a strong academic foundation with high-quality performing arts training.

Structured as a full-time programme, students divide their time between Ashfield College’s Dundrum campus and our purpose-built ITW studios. This blended approach creates an engaging and varied learning environment, where academic progress and creative development go hand in hand.

Alongside their studies, students train in singing, acting, and dance, building confidence, discipline, and communication skills that will support them as they move into senior cycle and future pathways.

For those seeking a Transition Year that is both purposeful and inspiring, this programme provides a balanced and enriching experience.

Time is divided between a structured academic programme delivered by Ashfield College and professional-standard training in our own studios, creating a dynamic and engaging weekly routine. Alongside their studies, students receive expert tuition in singing, acting, and dance from highly trained industry professionals, developing strong technique, confidence, and stage presence in a supportive environment.

The programme also focuses on building essential life skills such as discipline, time management, communication, and self-assurance all of which play a vital role in supporting students as they progress into senior cycle and prepare for the Leaving Cert and beyond.
