Admired Tate McRae’s stage presence, or channeled your inner Ariana Grande or Olivia Rodrigo, performing their songs with style and flair?

Then you’d have felt right at home at the Independent Theatre Workshop’s (ITW) Broadway Summer Camp, where the theme this week was all about embracing your inner pop star!

From July 21st to 25th, our talented young performers took to the stage with boldness, confidence, and charisma just like their favourite music icons. 💫🎶

🎤 Camper Spotlight: Elsa, Age 12
Elsa joined the camp this week with her friend Elena and was full of enthusiasm about the entire experience:

Under the guidance of professional directors and choreographers, the campers brought iconic pop hits to life with impressive vocals, striking choreography, and a strong sense of performance. Each act was packed with energy and personality, capturing the spirit of the stars they admire. 🎵

But the magic didn’t stop on stage🪄

Behind the scenes, every day was bursting with creativity, joy, and team spirit—from morning warm-ups and character-building workshops to theatre games and full-cast rehearsals. The camp was thoughtfully designed to boost confidence, spark imagination, and create meaningful connections.

For many campers, this experience was more than just performing, it was a chance to step into a world where being a celebrity is fun, inspiring, and filled with friendship and self-expression.
